  • Door handle being tampered with, knocking of the class

  • Non diegetic ringing sound to show her “blur out” from reality

  • Low lighting to produce shadows 

  • Phone, represents what years tere in (2009) 

  • Mother – she recently lost her husband. (in thrillers the protagonist usually has a secret or troubled past)

  • Cutaway (when man entered home ---->outside where the countdown was happening and firework-----> her shooting the man with the shotgun

  1. What elements did i like 

  • That the mother wasnt “dumb” and make a decision that led her to the danger. 

  • That the mother showed signs of distress 

  • How the space (the trailer) was small, so she only had 1 option which was to defend herself and the baby.  Fit the theme and tone.
