As I came up with my pitch last time, “ A teenage girl is left alone at home, but the power goes out and she is left with a surprise”. Picking this pitch means I also must choose a genre, the genre I've decided on was to film a thriller. Last year I also decided to make my opening sequence a thiller, this year I'm hoping to use my old knowledge and new knowledge to expand on my ideas and thoughts in order to have an amazing short film. The reason I choose to film the movie as a thriller, is because I'm an adrenaline junkie, I love feeling the thrill and I love having my heart race knowing something exciting is about to happen. One new thriller I plan on watching is "Amber Alert", It seems very intresting from the trailer. I will also use this film to take note and get more ideas for my short film.
