Heyyy blog I'm back again. This time I'm on the 2nd half of my task, which is editing. I'm happy that I'm done filming because I'm ready to editing, since I am using a new app rather than Cap cut. Truth is I wanted to record my voiceovers earlier this week, but unfortunately I was sick. My throat was on fire and my voice sounded so scratchy. I tried to record one line and couldn’t stop coughing to save my life. But now its 3 days later and my voice sounds way better, thanks to the millions of cups of tea I drunk. This voiceover process was the most tedious task I've done in a while. After the first 3 attempts, I got bored. My voice was really starting to feel all the retries. I wanted my voice to sound perfect, but instead it kept coming out squeaky and muffled. Instead of using the voice recorder on iMovie, I used the voice recorder app on my phone because I heard the difference. On the iMovie app I could hear the static and my voice sounded muffled like my words had been jumbled up. On the voice recorder app on my phone, my voice sounds much clearer and with much less static.
Attempting to do my first line again was really just because I didn't like my voice. The first few times it was because I kept giggling after saying “Ugh”. After the 15th time of doing my one and only line I finally had one that I liked. I quickly saved it and took a slight break before I gave my phone to my dad to do his voiceover lines. From what I was hearing from my room, my dad was also struggling. After 10 minutes, way quicker than I did my line, he was done, I listened to it and was content with it before saving it. After saving both voiceovers I uploaded them onto iMovie, so when I was ready I could align them with the clip.
