The process of me picking out videos and pictures were quite difficult. I'm not really a picture person, so I barely have pictures of me now. The pictures of me that I do have are either blurry because I'm impatient or me not looking good. I do take a lot of goofy pictures on snapchat on my mom’s phone, so I had to get her to send me some of those photos. I have so many pictures and videos from when I was younger, you could visibly see how happy I was during my childhood. I decided to favorite/star some pictures of me with some of my track friends, my trip to California, me playing sports, my dog, etc, I could edit them into a video later. I asked so many people and family members for any pictures they have of me or some that I am included in because apparently, they have my whole life in a story book. I did manage to get some photos but definitely not enough. Trying to edit these pictures and videos will be somewhat difficult for me because I can’t edit even if it was to save my life. I have chosen to use Capcut or IMovie to edit, but so far I’m leaning more towards Capcut because I do have some knowledge with it. It also seems easier and beginner friendly for somebody like me. Capcut has more transitions and styles which is based on what some of my friends told me. Now the real problem here is the music. I have over 1700 songs in my playlist and it's still growing. It would be impossible to choose only one song for my video. Maybe I could do a mix of 2-3 songs, for each part of the video. Every day I say this is my favorite song, then the next day it would be a different song. I picked out some songs and typed them down in my notes on my phone, so I don’t lose them. So far, I’ve chosen a song by Queen Najia, Sonder, MC Hammer, and Beyonce. I’m still choosing which song I want to put because those options give a song my mom would use in the background of a slideshow of me, to post it on Facebook. It's difficult because it needs to go with the pictures and videos of me, plus it has to be appropriate.
